Policies and practices established by the juvenile justice administrators and legislators can determine success or failure... Policy decisions determine what supports delinquents returning home receive. Delinquent juveniles need support which enhances continuity of care as this is a critical component of youth success. I have found, through research, my professional and personal experiences, that the availability of community resources is a mitigating factor that increases youth success and strengthens families. Education, family support are core needs in our communities, yet there is a lack of access to those essential supports. How much money is spent on things other than people? We will interpolate and extrapolate the numbers to have an honest conversation for the next few weeks, months, and years. I pray that we can influence someone's thinking to support the community more. 

Question:  Are we doing something in the community for which we don't get anything in return?
